Sharks vs. Kings
This game will always be remember, and will go down in history. The second largest comeback in playoff history to exact. The Kings had an early 4-0 lead in the second period and probably thought it was lights out there on in for the Sharks. The Sharks lived up to there name (Sharks) and didn't stop fighting. San Jose scored three unanswered goals to rally themselves back into the game. Just as the Sharks were heating up L.A Kings forward Ryan Smyth answered back with a quick goal of his own to widen the lead back to two goals. This was only a minor set back for the Sharks. With less then two minutes left the Sharks scored two quick goals to tie the game. They went from being down 4-0 to scoring five goals and tying the game at 5-5 in the second period. Sports analyst called the second period of this game a game of shiny hockey due to all the goals. Nothing came about in the third period, and this game was sent to overtime. It didn't take long into overtime for a goal to be scored. It took 3:09 in overtime for Sharks Devin Setoguchi to complete the comeback. The Sharks out shot there opponents 36 to 22 and deserved to win this game. This was a true battle of Los Angeles and I think this will give the Sharks momentum going into next game. In my opinion the Sharks take game 4 of the series to widen the series lead 3 to 1.
